Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the day-to-day learning center operations.
  • Manage the instruction floor, including ensuring students are getting proper attention and also orchestrating instructor breaks as required. 
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized and professional learning environment.
  • Assist Center Director in leading and motivating our dedicated instructors.
  • Train new and existing instructors in our education methodology and Center operations.
  • Foster instructor dedication to the Mathnasium Method™ of teaching and delivering an outstanding learning experience for our students.
  • Instruct students using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
  • Administer student assessments according to a prescribed cadence and communicate results to parents.
  • Track student engagement and learning progress and intervene as needed, including communication to the Center Director.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
  • Assess prospective students and effectively communicate results and efficacy of our program to parents.
  • Contribute to the sales and retention process by delivering excellent customer service to both existing and prospective students and families.
  • Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
  • Assist with other functions and tasks as needed (these may include marketing, communications, administrative and maintenance, among others.)

Qualifications: 
  • Math Proficiency: Excellent math skills with proficiency through Algebra II. 
  • Passion for Working with Students: Experience and enjoy working with students, preferably in an educational capacity. 
  • Communication & Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both internally and externally. Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities.
  • Organizational Proficiency: Strong organizational abilities with a reputation for reliability. Capable of prioritizing, planning, and executing tasks with initiative and efficiency. Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Positive Personal Traits: Possess a friendly, positive, confident, professional  and customer service-focused attitude and approach. Open and eager to learn and be trained.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have completed Mathnasium Instructor training and held an Instructor, ACD or CD role at a Mathnasium Learning Center.

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour




Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
