Algebra I Instructor (Part-Time)
Part Time • Port St. Lucie
Mathnasium is hiring a part-time Algebra I Instructor to work with middle and early high school students in a fun, supportive learning center. This is a year-round, in-center position—no travel required. All curriculum and materials are provided.
Responsibilities
- Teach Algebra I concepts using Mathnasium’s proven method
- Build confidence, understanding, and problem-solving skills
- Communicate progress with families and center staff
Qualifications
- Strong math skills through Algebra I (Geometry a plus)
- Clear communication and positive attitude
- Enjoy working with students and motivating them to succeed
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
Details
- Part-time: ~10–30 hours/week
- Schedule: Mornings, Monday–Friday, Weekends available also
- Pay: From $40/hour, based on experience
- Location: In person
