Mathnasium of Noe Valley is searching for a friendly and reliable Center Assistant to be the welcoming face of our math learning center. In this role, you’ll greet students, guide them to their instructors, help with check-in/check-out, and keep our center running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
Student Check-In & Check-Out
- Welcome students as they arrive and ensure they are signed in.
- Direct students to their assigned instructor.
- Ensure a parent/guardian is present before releasing a student at the end of a session.
- Monitor the entry/exit area to make sure students are safe.
- Enforce center policies for pick-up and drop-off.
Administrative & Support Tasks
- Assist students with prize redemption and tracking points.
- Answer basic parent questions and direct more detailed inquiries to the Center Director.
- Assist instructors with small tasks (organizing materials, restocking supplies).
Qualifications
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable interacting with kids and parents.
- Reliable and attentive to detail.
- Prior experience working with children (e.g., camps, schools, daycare) is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work 20 hours/week
- Must pass a background check

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
