What you will do as a Lead Math Instructor STEM College Student:
- Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
- Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
What we are looking for in a Lead Math Instructor STEM College Student:
- Passion for math and education — helping students build confidence and mastery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to connect with students, parents, and colleagues
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow through ongoing training
- Math proficiency through at least Algebra II (Statistics or Calculus strongly preferred)
- Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work as part of a team
- College-level coursework in math, education, or STEM is highly desirable
As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
