What you will do:
As an Assistant Center Director, you’ll help lead the center’s day-to-day operations while also working directly with students to create a fun, engaging learning environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting team members, building relationships with families, and delivering high-quality instruction using the Mathnasium Method

- Build strong relationships with families through exceptional customer service and regular communication
- Support the Center Director in identifying student needs and developing personalized learning plans
- Assist with sales responsibilities, including responding to leads and enrolling new students
- Teach and work with students (Kindergarten through Algebra I) in a small-group setting, helping them build confidence and master concepts
- Lead and coach team members to deliver effective, individualized instruction
- Track student progress and ensure an engaging, productive learning experience
- Maintain a fun, safe, positive, and professional learning environment
You’ll Be A Great Fit If You:
- Have previous customer relationship & sales experience
- Have strong math skills through at least Algebra I (Geometry and/or Algebra II are a plus)
- Are an excellent communicator
- Are eager to learn, grow, and bring fun, positive energy to every session
- Passion for math and working with students
- Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance diverse responsibilities
As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
