What You’ll Do
As a Math Instructor / Tutor, you’ll:
- Help students learn and understand math using the Mathnasium Method™.
- Work one-on-one and with students in a fun, energetic learning environment.
- Encourage students and celebrate their progress.
- Pay attention to how students are learning and adjust your approach when they need a different explanation.
- Use digital learning tools and technology to support instruction.
- Work as part of a team to create a positive experience for every student.
No teaching experience? No problem. We’ll teach you what you need to know and give you the tools and training to succeed.
What Makes Someone Great at This Job?
You don’t have to be a professional mathematician or experienced teacher. We’re looking for people who are:

- 🧠 Good at math — You’re comfortable with math through at least Algebra I.

As part of our hiring process, all applicants will complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

Compensation: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
