Key Responsibilities
Center Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily center operations to ensure an organized, productive, and welcoming learning environment.
- Lead, train, and support instructional staff to maintain high standards of teaching and student engagement.
- Monitor student progress and ensure individualized learning plans are implemented effectively.
- Conduct student assessments and assist in developing customized learning plans.
- Maintain accurate student records and manage administrative responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the center owner to support operational goals and continuous improvement.
Family Relationships & Enrollment
- Build positive relationships with students and families.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and educational goals.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective families.
- Conduct consultations and explain Mathnasium's instructional approach and programs.
- Guide prospective families through the enrollment process.
- Support student retention by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
Instructional Leadership
- Provide guidance and coaching to instructors to ensure effective teaching practices.
- Monitor instructional sessions to identify students who may need additional support.
- Assist students with mathematical concepts using the Mathnasium Method.
- Promote an encouraging learning environment that supports student confidence and academic growth.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who demonstrates:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in customer service, sales, education, or team management
- Confidence in communicating with parents and building relationships
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively
- Strong foundational math skills, including proficiency through Algebra I
- Comfort using computers and learning new technology
- A positive, professional, and solution-oriented approach
- Willingness to learn and apply the Mathnasium Method
Previous experience in education or management is beneficial, but we also welcome candidates with transferable leadership and customer service skills.
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
